🐾 Loki – 12-month-old Samoyed boy 🐾
📍 Currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult family home with other dogs and visiting grandchildren.
Loki recently came into our care due to a genuine change in his owners’ circumstances. They made the difficult decision to ask for our help so that he could be responsibly rehomed, and we are pleased to be helping this lovely boy find the right forever family.
As always, Loki has only been with us a short time, so he is still settling into foster care and getting to know his foster family and their dogs. We will continue to update his profile as we learn more about him.
What we can already say is that Loki is a very friendly, affectionate young dog. He loves people and absolutely adores other dogs. He recently joined us at a Starfish gathering with lots of new people and dogs, and he had the best time, taking everything in his stride with his usual happy nature.
Loki is an intelligent boy who wants to please and is very trainable. He already knows some basics and will listen well, although, like many young dogs, his recall becomes rather selective when there are other dogs to play with! He is also a strong lad, so we are currently walking him on a figure-of-eight lead while he continues his lead training.
Loki is still very much an adolescent and is looking for an active home that understands the needs of a young Samoyed. He will need plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation and ongoing training to help him become the wonderful adult dog we know he can be.

🐾 An active family who enjoy the outdoors.
🐾 Someone who has the time to continue his training.
🐾 Another friendly, playful dog to wrestle, run and have fun with.
🐾 A home where he won’t be left for long periods, as he enjoys company and being part of family life.
As with all Samoyeds, his stunning white coat is beautiful but does require regular grooming and sheds heavily, especially during moulting seasons. Anyone considering Loki should be prepared for the commitment of keeping his coat healthy and looking its best.
